BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE
Barbara Zelnick is an expert in communication and relationship dynamics. She works with individuals, teams and organizations on creating professional communication strategies and development plans.
During her twenty year career she has created a range of strategies for effective communications and solved complex problems with clear, powerful solutions. The early years of her business career were spent in Silicon Valley working for high technology companies where she developed results oriented communication programs for leaders in the computer networking and telecommunications industry. Her experience encompasses designing, developing and executing successful campaigns for established Fortune 500 and start-up companies including Osborne Computer, IBM, British Telecom, Octel Communications and Cisco Systems.
Barbara holds a Bachelors from the University of Colorado in Business Administration and a Masters from the University of San Diego School of Leadership and Education Sciences in Marriage and Family Therapy. Barbara is a licensed psychotherapist (MFC 43257) and completed her training with UCSD Psychiatry, Family Medicine, and the Veteran's Administration.
Barbara supports a wide range of philanthropic endeavors in the area of health and the environment. She also volunteers for San Diego Hospice.
